Meet Our Crew

Captain Lee

Captain

With 25+ years of experience and expertise in our local Costa Rican waters, U.S.C.G. Licensed Captain Lee has worked as captain and mate throughout the western hemisphere – from his home waters in South Carolina to the Bahamas, the Galapagos, and the Caribbean. He is a master at locating the day’s active hotspots and is skilled in an array of techniques, including trolling, bottom fishing, and fly fishing.

Mate

Yendry is from Isla Caballo, located in Gulf of Nicoya. She has her Mate’s Certificate from INA. She has spent her life as an artisan fisherman and has been working onboard since 2023

Our bilingual, U.S.C.G. Licensed captain and multilingual crew carry not only Costa Rican certification, but also the highest-caliber international qualifications, including STCW certification, Coast Guard licensing, Red Cross CPR certification, and SOLAS training. We comply with and exceed all USCG and Costa Rica Coast Guard requirements and mandates

Our bilingual captain is a native English speaker and has 25+ years of Tamarindo sport fishing experience. Our crew speaks also speaks English and Spanish, assuring crystal-clear communication – always important onboard, and even more so if you’re boating with children or first timers aboard.

We offer top-of-the-line equipment, tournament-grade tackle, and modern navigation electronics (Navionics), to ensure a successful day on the water and a premium experience when sport fishing out of Flamingo Marina. If you’re a fishing tech or safety nerd, like we are, we’re happy to talk details!
